Mother's day is around the corner and what better time to take some special photos with just you and your children. I love these Mommy and me sessions, it's a sweet time to get in the photos with your kids and cherish that very special bond you have. I can't encourage moms enough to exist in photos for their children. You may not feel it now but years from now your children will cherish those photos of you so much.
A newborn Session with Jenna Hooker Photography
Newborn sessions are held in Jenna Hooker's studio, located in El Campo, Texas, and images are captured using studio lighting.
Sessions last from 1-2.5 hours, allowing ample time for a variety of studio set-ups, as well as the important things like feeding, settling and cuddling. While Jenna aims for a selection of unique and creative images, your baby’s comfort and safety is paramount.
Newborns are best photographed in the first two weeks, generally between 7-14 days old, as this is when they are easily settled, often sleeping and therefore most comfortable during sessions.
Jenna generally books out a month or 2 in advance, so it is recommended you book your newborn session early in your pregnancy. If time is available in the calendar, Jenna will always do her best to accommodate new inquiries where she can.
All props including blankets, outfits, wraps, throws and headbands are sourced from the finest local and international suppliers and are available for your session. If you have sentimental items such as knitted blankets, special clothing items or hats you would like included in your images, please bring them along to your session and Jenna will make every effort to incorporate them into your session.
Jenna’s studio includes a comfortable lounge area where you can settle in, relax and enjoy watching your little one’s first professional photo shoot. Jenna also encourages mom and dad and siblings in a couple of photos as a first family photo with the newborn.
If you are interested in booking, please contact Jenna with your estimated due date and tentatively schedule a session for your newborn. Once your baby arrives, contact Jenna as soon as convenient and she will lock in a session time.
Newborn session fee is $200. Prints and packages are a separate fee from the session fee and watch me grow and milestone packages are also available.

Being a mom myself newborn outfits, receiving blankets, and hooded towels are awesome but they are things that you will only use for a short period of time.
